Chipotle Chilli Oil

Smoked Chipotle & Ancho Chilli Cold Pressed, Extra Virgin Chilli Rapeseed Oil, 250ml MILD

The Cold pressed Extra Virgin Rapeseed oil is from Fussells of Somerset (as seen on Dragon's Den) and the chillies are a mixture of this years crop, dried using natural methods and infused into the oil to give a superb balance.   The chilli oil is of mild heat and is perfect for cooking or roast spuds, batter puddings, stir frys or even drizzling over a salad.

This version differs to our standard oil as the chillies contained are Smoked Jalapeno and Ancho's which give a unique barbecue twist.   

We cold smoke our dried pods for around 18 hours using woodsmoke and a cold smoking unit.

Unlike other oils, Rapeseed Oil does not overpower the flavours of your dishes. It also looks fantastic.

Rapeseed Oil is also a healthier oil option with half the saturated fats of olive oil, about ten times the  Omega 3 and 3 times the Omega 6 fatty acids compared to Olive oil. It also contains Omega 9 and Vitamin E.

Best of all is the lack of food miles. Unlike Olive Oil,  the rapeseed is grown here in the UK (in Somerset) and the chillies are from our farm in Devon.
