Variety info : Cheyenne F1The Cheyenne F1 is a compact, bushy, early ripening variety, which grows to about 45cm high.It is idea for growing in grow bags or containers on the patio and produces lots of bright orange fruits from each plant. The pods have a super flavour and are great chopped in salads or sprinkled over pizzas.If grown in a pot, it makes a great compact varieties which lots of useful sized chillies. Cayenne Red

This is a great variety, producing good crops of slender and spicy chilli peppers that will certainly spice up your culinary life! We are always amazed at how prolific and versatile this variety is, again one of our favourites.We use it in our chilli chocolate and in our muscle rub.
An attractive dwarf chilli pepper with an exceptionally high yield of fruits. It an be grown on the window sill, in the conservatory or on the patio.If you are looking for just one hot chilli pepper variety you will not be disappointed with an Apache. They need very little care and will always produce an abundant crop of about 2-4cm long fruits which mature from green to red. Picked when green they are fairly mild but if you wait for them to fully mature to a deep red, they are blisteringly hot. Easy to grow and very hardy for a chilli plant. A good variety which overwinters easily without having to cut it back. The plants grow to around 50cm high and can become quite bushy in shape but are a perfect variety for a window sill.
Cayenne peppers can be dried and ground used as powder added to sauces, stews, casseroles, sprinkled over salads, used in marinades and rubs.
The fruits are 10-20cm long and taper to a point. They are usually picked when fully mature and are commonly used in Chinese and Indian dishes.
From Central India, these plants grow to 75cm. It has green, pendant shaped, 10 x 1.5cm pods mature to deep red.
Easy to grow with fiery Cayenne shaped chillies and extremely prolific.

Scotch Bonnet Red Chilli Pepper Scotch Bonnet Red produces globular shaped fruits ripening pale green to bright red. The fruits are very hot, fiery and a pungent taste at maturity. The plant has a short bushy plant habit.Pods mature from green to a deep red.Another good extreme variety which grows well in the UK climate (inside or in polytunnel/greenhouse)

Bhut Jolokia is extensively cultivated in north eastern region of India especially in the states of Assam, Nagaland, and Manipur.
It is also known by other names like Ghost chilli, King Cobra Chilli, Bhut Jolokia, BorbihJolokia, Naga Jolokia, Nagahari, Naga Morich, Raja Mirchi etc. Vedic and several other ancient texts also describe its use in traditional medicine for curing many ailments. The local inhabitants commonly use this chili for making pickles and adding hot flavour to food.
The pepper is used as a spice in food or eaten alone. One seed from a Bhut Jolokia can produce sustained intense pain sensations in the mouth for up to 30 minutes before subsiding. Extreme care should be taken when ingesting the pepper and its seeds, so as to not get it in the eyes. It is used as a cure for stomach ailments. It is also used as a remedy to summer heat, presumably by inducing perspiration. In northeastern India, the peppers are smeared on fences or used in smoke bombs as a safety precaution to keep wild elephants at a distance.
In 2009, scientists at India's Defence Research and Development Organisation announced plans to use the chilies in hand grenades, as a less lethal way to control rioters!
It is ferociously hot and should be handled with extreme caution.
