Costeno Amarillo

(Capsicum annuum)

Origin : Mexico

Heat Rating : MILD
Scoville Heat Rating : 2000

Originating from Mexico (Oaxacaa & Guerrero regions) and used in salads, soups and sauces.

The shiny amber yellow hot fruits are 2-3 inches long, thin walled and have a superb slightly citrus crisp flavour.

However.... from this years crop, it is not a variety we are going to grow again. The plants take along time to germinate and are quite stubby. You may have better results if grown inside under lights rather than in a polytunnel outside.  If you want a citrus variety, try an Aji Lemon.
