Scoville Heat Rating : 2500-5000

Bishops Crown is from Barbados and is a large plant which produces three-sided peppers which resemble a Bishop's Crown. It is often called the Christmas Bell, Fryers Hat or Monks Hat. The fruits are 5cm long and around 7cm wide at the base of the pods.

Grows well in our climate but not very prolific.  Worth perservering with as such an interesting shape.  The pods mature from green, through orange to red.
