Alex's Big 1000 Mile Ride

Alex's Big 1000 Mile Ride

    to   John o groats

Alex & Louise are good friends and together they run the magnificient Upton Cheyney Chilli Farm near Bristol.

They are a proper chilli farm and grow all their own chillies for use in their products.

In June 2013, Alex will be cycling the length of Britain from Lands End to John o'Groats in Northern Scotland raising money for CLIC Sargent, a great charity helping young people cope with cancer.
He is hoping to raise £2000 for this brilliant charity.

We wish him the best of luck.  There are some pretty big hills round here not to mention those in Scotland!!

From Alex : Alex Duck aka Duckboy

Riding the length of the UK has been an ambition of mine for quite some time and having turned 40 in January the time has arrived.

Many of you will know me as a cider drinking fatboy, but I am using this challenge to keep me off the apple juice and on the road whilst raising funds for a charity that I feel very strongly about.

I have been in training since January and along with a couple of mates plan to start riding on Saturday June 22nd. Please help us make this worthwhile and sponsor us for as much as you can.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Cheers - Alex.
