A very rare variety from Trinidad & Tobago, it is so named as the end resembles a scorpions tail.
Currently measured as the world's hottest. The pepper is a particular strain of the Trinidad Scorpion.  It is named after Butch Taylor, the owner of a hot sauce company who is responsible for propagating the seeds.

The heat level rivals the Naga Morich chile and the Trinidad 7 Pot. The 5-7cm long pods are intensely hot and turn from green to red when mature.

The plant has green stems, green leaves, and creamy-yellow flowers .

The pods are used to make some of the worlds hottest chilli sauces.
